FY Hair Colors | my hair is really similar to the one somebody asked about (the long red hair with lighter tips) so i thought i could help. i bleached my hair and then dyed it a coppery red (including the tips) and when it was time to retouch my roots (around 4 weeks) i dyed the roots and a few inches below ONLY, without touching the tips. since red fades really quickly, the tips (with the help of the sun) faded to a lighter, orange-y red and i achieved that transitional color in around 3 months. cheers!
